Marie Kerr Registered Manager

Marie has built an extensive career in the care sector, with over 30 years of experience across various roles, including Deputy Manager, Registered Manager, and Regional Operations Manager, overseeing multiple residential children's homes. She has a strong track record of enhancing operational standards, mentoring staff, and turning underperforming settings into high-quality, thriving environments. Skilled in change management, Marie has led successful initiatives to reduce staff absence and improve compliance with Ofsted and other regulatory bodies. She is also highly effective in forging strong partnerships with local authorities and multi-agency teams. With a deep passion for coaching and empowering colleagues, Marie consistently ensures that care and educational practices are maintained to the highest standards.

With over 20 years of experience in the care sector, Tracey has held diverse roles, including Social Worker, Family Court Advisor/Children’s Guardian, Team Leader, and Assistant/Registered Manager of Children’s Homes. Tracey served as Assistant Team Manager and Team Leader at Knowsley Road Children’s Home, for Sefton and as a Family Court Advisor/Children’s Guardian at Cafcass in Liverpool Family Courts. Her managerial proficiency extended to being a Team Manager of social workers at Sefton MBC's Magdalen House. Additionally, Tracey worked as a Social Worker at Netherton Activity Centre and served as an Assistant Team Manager at Melrose House, overseeing short break service operations.
